Kindness!
Kindness is positively cool, don't you think?
What is the kindest thing that someone
has done for you lately or that you
have done for someone else?

Fun History Story about Locals:)
Today, 50 years since the Beatles’ historic tour and that truck is in working order on a farm in Griffith in the NSW Riverina.
Alan Foy bought the truck from BMC just weeks after the Beatles left our shores.
He made some safety modifications before selling it to his brother Patrick Gullifer for $4500 to be used around his farm.
Mr Gullifer’s son Ray currently runs the farm and contacted the Telegraph after spotting the truck on television.
He said it was still in its original condition, including the wooden platform which carried the Beatles around Sydney. Today however it has a cargo of a different kind.
“At the moment it’s got a water cooler on it but it still drives beautifully, it only needs a bit of panel work done to it,” he said.
Mr Gullifer said he wanted to hold on to the piece of history for a while longer.
“Yeah I’d imagine I would have to sell it one day but it’s a big part of history and I wouldn’t just give it away for 20 cents.”

IT"S A LOCAL THING!
Tuesday, 3 June 2014
SO WHY DO WE DO IT?
We see a problem and want to fix
it, we just can't walk away from the idea that we can bolster the economy while
also creating better lives for ourselves and those our service will touch. It
is exhausting just reading through our notes of researching, preparation,
planning, meetings and more meetings! forever learningJ, the list is endless.
I am sure that at the end of the
day we will only remember the good stuff along our journey.
So why do we do it?
as Lisa
Messenger of “Renegade Collective”
so eloquently puts it!
"Because it’s fun (the most fun you can have legally!). Because we get to build something, change something, impact someone.
We get to go our own way in a game of Monopoly for grownups with
few limits, play as big a game as we want to".
Because we hold all the cards J
