Our Mission...

We’ve been working on a new exciting business that will bring money back to our local communities and showcase local business nationally and we can’t wait for our up and coming launch!

I was born and raised in Darlington Point and having lived in Griffith most of my life, my local community is really close to my heart. My husband and I have always run our own small businesses and are now in the process of launching an amazing new business with Griffith being at the heart of this project.

You’re probably already aware that the sale of gift cards in Australia is now a staggering $2.5 billion industry annually and sadly up until now - none of these funds are kept in our local community. With the help of two of my closest friends and work colleagues, we’ve developed a business concept called Gifts4locals which will change all this and turn this industry on its head and give our local business' the amazing opportunity to benefit from the booming gift card trade but also boost the local community, organisations and charities in the area as well.

We know that small business is doing it tough and our mission is to keep spending local, support our local business thereby growing our communities. With a focus on the Christmas season gifts4locals will bring a unique gift giving and receiving experience where our whole community will benefit. We are so excited by this! We are on a mission to enrich our local area and showcase the businesses here nation wide!

We are three local girls passionate about our project, we’ve done an incredibly amount of research and have been hard at work to come up with a plan to lift local spend and help the many struggling charities in the area as well.

It’s a simple concept of local businesses featuring on a platform whereby people from around the nation can benefit and utilise our amazing professional services we have on offer here and around the region.

Help us spread the word far and wide as gifts4locals explodes onto the market.

Rocco Pirrottina Photography

I am fascinated by commercial photographer and TV Commercial producer Rocco Pirrottina. A great deal of his work is our local area, where he has decided to focus on the natural beauty that exists in this region.
We all get caught up in everyday work and forget the outdoors for its beauty and awe. Griffith especially has a great blend of rustic and vibrant seasonal colour along with its warm country landscape.
Rocco travels a lot, always in search of a new scene to add to his gallery but also finds that great subject material is right outside our local door.
His aim is to show Australia and the world our area, the beautiful countryside that is the Riverina. www.roccopirrottina.com

Barellan Beer Public Launch

AND Barellan Working Clydesdales Good Old Days Festival

It is two fantastic days of demonstrations, displays and competitions of working horses and farming methods used in years gone by.
This unique event showcases Clydesdale horses as the 'Gentle Giants' and helps to celebrate our heritage and history....

This year our committee endeavours to source as much local produce from our region as possible for inclusion in the Camp fire ovens and our Clydie kitchens.
This event will also witness the launch of Barellan's own world's first, locally grown, community owned, crowd sourced beer. See the beer delivered by horse and wagon to the Clydie bar just like the good old days, and then witness the official tapping of Barellan's first ale, made from our town's finest golden grain.
Food lovers will also treated to a selection of stalls showcasing local farm commodities such as organic flour for the scones, freshly squeezed orange juice, locally made jams and preserves, vegetables and local farm supplied meat for the camp oven dinner.
